Great for Singer 44s. Almost identical to what is supplied by Singer. Note that if Singer sells it stock, it's cheaper than what was being offered through Revain (at the time of this review, at least).

My sewing machine has not been used for almost 3 years because I just couldn't afford the $90 Singer wanted to replace my original pedal after it destroyed mine in a flood had been basement. I took a chance as the other (~$13?) HD has very mixed answers as to whether it will fit my Singer 2263. It fits and works great. I fixed my mom's work pants tonight and almost cried I was so happy they are back to work. Works like a dream so far.

I bought a used sewing machine without cord and pedal. Plugged in a new cable and voila it works as it should. My wife hasn't sewn with it yet, but I'm sure it'll be ready to go with a new pedal and cable. At the moment everything seems to be working as it should. Timely delivery, satisfactory product, very reasonable price.

I bought my daughter her sewing machine 12 years ago and she has already changed it 4 times. I recently visited her and she asked me to make Halloween costumes; then I discovered that she had lost the pedal and power cord. After some research I found this would work for her car. It took almost 3 weeks to receive them, partly due to the remoteness of their home (Alaska); But the wait was worth it. It works great!

The pedal that came with my sewing machine has a pedal cord that was about 4 inches shorter than I am on the table as I am a 6 foot fellow with back problems and not a little old lady I raised the sewing machine so as not to bend over. I bought this so I could take the cable and solder the wires together to make the cable longer. but as it turns out this one has a 6" longer cord so I'll just use it and I don't have to bundle the cord together! Thanks YICBO!
