It does not rotate, so you must install it in an area under cabinets that not only has the width of the holder, but also has enough room to fit a large roll of paper towels.

Really like this new towel rail. It adhered perfectly to my subway tile on the back of my apron, saving me valuable counter space and helping with clutter. Paper towels look like they're floating in mid-air: I love the minimalistic look.

I have for the kitchen, directly under the wall units. It's heavy and looked sturdy, but it fell off on its own, even without paper towels. This lasted about 4 days before a spontaneous fall occurred. I didn't have paper towels yet because the roll was too big, so I put them on a different holder.

I bought this because I wanted to use glue instead of screwing it in. The glue was terrible and fell off after about a day. To use it I had to screw it in. I had to use my own smaller screws to keep them from going through my closet door to the other side. I would not recommend this if you want to use it without screws.

I chose this holder over several other options I saw because the brushed metal and slimmer design cost me a few bucks more. I'm happy to report that it was even better than I expected. I attached it to the underside of a varnished wooden shelf and it immediately stuck like glue.
