I bought this jacket for my grandson. It appeared to be made of quality material and I believe it would provide the amount of heat required. I only gave 3 stars because it had a very strong fishy smell. Tried washing several times but didn't help. I assume the reason for the smell was what was used to make the water repellent. Came back when my grandson complained about the smell. Not good!

I ordered a size larger and it just fits. However, it seems quite durable and long enough to cover the waist and hips. The collar is high enough to protect the neck without a scarf. He's not very fat, so he doesn't look like a big blue marshmallow.

I was looking for a warm raincoat for my little 6 year old. I bought 7/8 based on other reviews but it's a bit big. I think it's a bit small but probably not full size. It is fleece lined on the body but not on the hands. There are zippered side pockets for gloves or hands. And an inner chest pocket with velcro but it's a bit small and I'm not sure what it can be used for. I like that the hood is sewn on. My son has a detachable hood on the raincoat but it doesn't hold up very well. I love that

I chose this coat for my six year old son. I read that these coats run small so I took a size 11/12. My son usually wears a size 8. The coat was a bit too big, the sleeves were a bit long, but the wrists on the coat had velcro and I was able to take them off to keep up with my son's wrists. It is beautifully lined with soft fleece. I love that this is a lined, waterproof coat perfect for the Pacific Northwest winter weather. He will benefit a lot from this coat.

We've spent a lot of time scouring online and in stores for thicker, warmer, more waterproof jackets for our kids while touring the Northwest this spring. The jackets are very good, just as we expected. The cuffs are adjustable which was good for one of my kids as they needed the cuffs to be a bit shorter. They love hoods! Great jacket at a fantastic price. - Oh - They also liked the extra pockets for wallets and packs of gum.

I bought it for my son as a spring/summer jacket. It rains a lot where we live, which is why a waterproof case is so great! The lining is warm enough for early spring. Has two large pockets inside and two outside. I like the hood, the only thing I would wish for more is if it was detachable. Overall great quality!

Very well made product but the top layer is too thick and inflexible so my grandson won't wear it often after all. That's my feedback.

May be too skinny for a husky boy. But this is a well made jacket. I'm happy with that. My grandson is almost considered a "husky” and that suits him.

I bought 2 of these (I have 5 and 8 year old). These are lined coats. They have hoods with chin guards - front zips with pockets. However, their Chinese logo is on a reflective band on the left chest. I have no idea what that word is or what it means. If I had noticed that, I would not have bought it. I donate it

This is a great coat for the price. The reason I say "for the price" is because we've definitely had better coats that were a bit more expensive from companies like Lands' End and LL Bean. Lightning works well, practically does not stick. The waterproof shell keeps the inner fleece warm and dry. I was very very impressed with this raincoat, especially for the price. It was MUCH better than I expected for the price. Beautifully sewn, beautifully soft and warmly lined, but also wearable in spring, not too hot. Pockets are right where you need them. My 11 and 12 year old grandchildren love this jacket. I have dark blue and grey. I promise you won't be disappointed!

This is great for my 9 year old son. He wears it casually or to a special occasion, he loves it that much. It's comfortable and warm on cold days. The hood is great and fits well. I recommend this jacket.

Great price, warm, definitely waterproof. I only wish I was the next size up so my 11 year old would have room to grow. If they were adult sizes I would buy them. Perfect for our autumn trip to Scotland.
