Description of Yokohama Ice Guard IG50+ 225/55 R18 98Q winter

Yokohama iceGuard IG50+ is a slip-on friction winter tire with an asymmetric tread pattern designed for passenger cars and crossovers. Despite a very recent appearance on the domestic market, the Yokohama Ice Guard IG50+ winter tire can hardly be called a novelty, since it is an improved version of the model of the same name, released several years earlier. It differs from the "original" in improved grip on ice, as well as increased fuel efficiency. At the same time, its tread pattern remained the same. All changes affected the internal components of the tire structure. Like the previous model...

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

The guys from the warehouse brought tires 20 years old, I asked them to look at 21 years old, they took out 21 years old, the express guys are handsome, thank you very much

Pros
  • Soft comfortable, not noisy, in general Japanese quality
Cons
  • Not found

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

I put this rubber on Nissan Almera that year, the quality is excellent, I am satisfied. I haven't used this company's tires before, but to be honest, I was not disappointed. Got pros: They showed themselves perfectly on the track under snowfall, they held on no worse than spikes. Ice on 4, quite predictable, does not skid, but still I walk carefully. Some cons: I didn’t reveal any cons directly, you need to get used to each rubber a little and everything will be fine

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I took the R14 on the basis of a grant in a warm winter, it is quite comfortable to ride in rain and ice (-12), but it is better not to accelerate on snow porridge with these Velcro. It is noisy on the pavement, but this is in a grant, on other machines the sound insulation is different and you can be quite quiet.

Pros
  • Holds the road well, no swelling, smooth
Cons
  • Might not be the quietest.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I purchased it when the price was still reasonable, and when winter arrives, I shall detail everything in its entirety. After a span of two months throughout the winter: surprisingly strong traction taking into account the fact that 95 percent of the time the roads are more or less clean or salted. Naturally, you needed to drive with extreme caution when there was just a dusting of snow on the ground, but on days like these, spikes are of no use. They unquestionably contribute to an increase in

Pros
  • Price That's all there is to say about a city where they wash and spill reagents! The cabin must be kept quiet!
Cons
  • The rut is definitely noticeable, but I quickly adjusted to the routine. A marginal rise can be seen in consumption.

The production year is 2022. On roads that have been cleared, you can drive as if it were the middle of summer within the city. It is not a problem for us to wade through fresh loose snow either. When there are ice crusts and packed snow on the roads, the safest thing to do is adhere to the speed limit and drive in a cautious manner. In this respect, spikes were significantly more accurate and predictable than before. Driving in urban areas is a breeze because to this car's performance. Soft…

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Whoever argues that a Linden is not appropriate for the winter either hasn't driven one or doesn't know how:) I have been driving for ten years, and during the winter months, I always drive in Linden. Their patency is comparable to that of spikes, and in certain cases it is even better. In general, however, they are not any worse. In particular, I bought these tires a year ago. The ones that came before them were manufactured by a different firm, and after two years of typical wear and tear…

Pros
  • On the iceguards during the previous winter, the weather was typically beautiful. There will be no slipping or sliding since the operating tread will be more than adequate. In addition, the wheels provide the vehicle an appealing overall appearance.
Cons
  • I am still pleased with the acquisition, and I have no doubt that they will provide me joy during the following winter.

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Because we must still search for snow during the winter, I decided to get Velcro for myself. Very quiet rubber, and in addition to that, it has very little wear. It has an excellent grip both when dry and when wet on asphalt, and it also maintains its confidence when used on ice.

I will defy all of your preconceived notions by saying that I am really dissatisfied with these tires. A brief preamble: prior to that, I was driving a Hakkapeliita R equipped with Pirelli Ice Zero tires. At first, they were drawn in by the quality and low cost of Japanese products. Putting new tires on a car and driving it for the first time on freshly paved and dry asphalt causes the tires to buzz. They grip the road wonderfully whether it is dry or wet, but as soon as snow plows begin their…

Pros
  • This product was manufactured in Japan, and it has the appearance of the tire with the presence of flanging to preserve the rim of the disk. There are only two of them at this location.
Cons
  • Noisy.
