Description of Yonico 14978 Router Carbide Tipped

This ogee groove router bit cuts a groove 1/2" deep by 3/4" wide. The blades meet in the center for true plunging capability and the shank is 1/2". Route decorative grooves for faux panel doors, moldings, sign making and CNC projects. Premium C3 micro-grain tungsten carbide blades for a sharper & longer lasting edge. For use on CNC, table mount and handheld routers. Silver induction brazing for maximum strength and durability.

Not Worth the Money

This router bit is a huge disappointment! After I put it to the test, the carbide-tipped blade dulled out quickly and made cutting a chore. For the price, I expected a lot more out of an Industrial and Scientific product. The only positive is that it arrived quickly .Save your money and invest in a higher-quality bit..

Nice pattern on MDF cabinet doors

I made MDF doors for some cabinets and wanted to spice them up a bit. I was very happy with the results. I ended up getting a replacement for the first piece I got as she didn't want to cut the tip off. The guys at Precision Bits were very concerned about this issue and provided me with a replacement that worked great. I was very impressed with their efforts to make sure I was happy.
