Description of Efficient Cutting with Yonico 32216 SC 4 Inch Downcut Spiral Bit
Laminate or veneer-finish plunging and dadoing. For standard CNC milling and routing where a clean top surface edge of material is required. Premium C3 micro-grain solid tungsten carbide for a high-performance industrial quality tool. For use on CNC, table mount and handheld routers. Polished to a mirror finish from a solid carbide rod for precision & accuracy.
Easily cut 0.2" birch plywood. Tried anywhere from 60-120 ipm at 20,000 rpm and .125" depth of cut and the top of the stock was great. Not sure if the feeds and speeds are correct , but I was happy If anyone knows the correct feed/speed please comment.
I love this router when I'm cutting plywood through the top layer for the first pass, then switch to a vertically cut router for the rest through cut. This tip reduces tearing and makes the part cleaner without requiring as much grinding. This is not suitable for deep cuts as the material being cut will clog the cutting path.
Pros
Highly polished solid carbide shank for precision and precision
This nozzle has quickly become my go-to nozzle for shallow cuts in wood or plastic when I want to avoid getting lint on the Surface remain (top pass and bottom blind cuts) from a plunge chisel. I don't think this short cut carbide drill can be any better at this price point. Someone mentioned that the racket broke while using it. This is clearly due to user error. It's a hole saw, so it can't cut blind _slots_ (of course I still do it in hardwood and polycarbonate, at .015" depth, 133 ipm, 29k…
Pros
For use on CNC machines, benchtop and hand routers
