Thank goodness for this expansion! A new ceiling fan was not included and could not be purchased from the company. This rod fits perfectly! Great price, timely delivery, exceptional product and right color! Highly recommended!

This is a piece of half inch pipe with holes drilled. You should be able to craft it with a hacksaw and a drill. Should be a lot cheaper. It will get the job done - five stars for affordable overseas shipping and quality. 3 stars for the high price. I will use it for A Canarm Fan.

I bought this to replace a shower rod and needed a good quality 1/2" diameter stainless steel rod. It is not. Although I couldn't find my calipers, they are closer to 3/4" or 20mm. You can see attached photos. It's a good weight and quite thick. I think it's about 2mm thick. It has a nice finish but it's not really matte or polished this is something in between it looks great and I would recommend it but I can't use it so had to send it back.

Unfortunately I waited too long to open the packaging. It doesn't look like I can return the item. It's not what I would call an oil bronze. It's brown, or maybe the color of weathered copper. Damaged and creased in transit due to poor packaging. It's too flimsy for my application and unthreaded on one end to properly attach to a ceiling fan. No attachment points for ball joint set screws or ground wires. Look elsewhere for your downstay, this one will be thrown in the trash.
