The air gripper looks AWESOME and plays just like it looks. The rings on the inner cups really help with beacons and holes as they are rubber and the holes in the tama help with that too.

The cups are made to make it easier to catch the ball. So it will be more fun for beginners to use it. It looks good and I don't feel like it has a permanent dent like my old wood. This was my first kendama and I didn't know much about it. This kendama is very good for long term use. It is very easy to do tricks. Warning: Archers and Revolvers are difficult to craft. This is a very durable kendama. For $20 I would recommend Sweets or Girr KendamaCo Sheer Kendama.

CHEAP - We've had a lot of Kendams and this one - the little rubber inserts at each end of the circle popped out after the first day of use. My son spent most of the day looking for little rubber rings. Eventually he lost one of them on the third day and hasn't touched it since. Stick to wooden kendams or you'll throw your money away.

This item was only good at first. Plastic kendams are not very good as they break very easily with frequent use. The ball splits down the middle when it hits something, and the rubber stop rings that help the ball get into the cup kept falling out, to the point I just took them off and threw them away with mine child would not eat them.
