Some of the pictures show a spider in the web but there is no spider. It's a lot less "intimidating" without the spider in the web, so I'll have to go out and buy a spider that will hopefully attach properly. When he came out of the box, he was incredibly confused. I wanted to decorate for Halloween at the last minute and it fitted without being too expensive. The lights don't look like the picture where all the lines of the mesh are lit. It only has one string of lights along each radial strand of the track. The net itself is made from very flimsy looking thread, but it lasted up to a week when hung outside. It's, as advertised, about 12 feet in diameter at its longest point, but the lights are only about 9 feet from end to end. It all came crumpled up…

1st - it's so cheaply made that it doesn't stand a chance of withstanding the weather. The "yarn" from which it is made degrades almost instantly. 2nd - does not light up if not completely dark! I can hardly see light when there is a trail of light coming from somewhere else. 3rd - it runs on battery, which I confess I didn't see in the description. If I knew how cheap it was, I wouldn't buy it. It definitely won't last more than 3 Halloweens, probably not 1. I'll have to reinforce it with wire to use it with a spider.
