I had Matt's felt and cork turntables. The cork one had a good sound but it seemed to stick to the record every time you picked it up and it was annoying so I went back to the rubber mat and there were no static issues and really no noticeable difference in sound.

This seemed like a good option but I had the same issue that another reviewer mentioned. In fact, this object has one task: to put it on a plate. Mine has a 1" girth section that just doesn't lay flat - EXACTLY like a warped record. Even after a few weeks it didn't go flat. It's wasted, you get what you pay for. I'm looking again for a flat rubber mat to swap out.

This is the perfect silicone rubber mat for Audio Technica's AT120USB turntable. I prefer it to the thinner felt mat that comes with the turntable, mainly because it better isolates the record, stylus, cartridge and tonearm from direct drive motor vibration or noise. Felt is better suited for DJ applications (mixing/scratching), while this mat is only better for just listening to music and copying via USB to a PC. Good price!

That's it, a cheap rubber turntable mat that does what it's supposed to. The mat has extra rubber sticking out on the sides (I had to cut it off with scissors) and when it spins you can see it wobble as it's not perfectly round. It should have been a $5 product not the price they sell it for. It's probably made from recycled car tires, so it didn't cost them anything to make it, and they didn't even bother to make it properly.

This item fits perfectly on the SL 1200. No logo and fits well, partially obscuring the raised bare metal ring on the outer edge of the plate. The grooves are a bit sharper and deeper than the OEM but done neatly. If you want something more original you'll have to go OEM, but I'm literally the only one who will ever know it's aftermarket on my desk. Good value for money. I bought this mat to replace the felt mat on an Audio Technica AT-LP 120 direct drive turntable. It fits perfectly and looks OEM. My original pad was a great pad, but it seemed to have a static attraction on my records that would sometimes stick to the record. .
