Seen many YouTube reviews but doesn't work properly with UHD 4k folders, many freezes during playback " Tried high speed HDMI cable. directly with my LG C9 TV and Onkyo Receiver, works not." everything else normal blu-ray, mkv is ok, was a big disappointment.

I was looking for an easy way to access hundreds of my movies so I don't have to keep them all on a bookshelf. It took over a couple of hours to back up my collection to an external USB drive, but the end result is beautiful, easy to use, and well worth it. The playback quality is exactly like watching a disc.

Oh my God! This damn thing is amazing. I use it in my full modern home theater. I connect my external hard drives with all my movies to it. It does the job so well. Even my 4k downloads are losing and the picture is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and the controls are so easy. If you're about to buy it, go ahead and pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed 👍🏽

I installed it behind the TV and tried to use the IR box. Tried everything but didn't work. Since the player is behind the TV, the remote only works if I point it directly at the player behind the TV. If your device includes an IR extender and it's just a matter of plugging it into a miniplug then it should work without any problems, but it doesn't.
