They are very soft. My 10 year old fits in but probably not for long. She is medium sized. They are smaller than I expected based on the description.

I would not recommend these gloves. You are very small! The fingers are particularly short. I bought these for an 11 year old who has larger than average hands. However, her friend, a VERY petite 9 year old with VERY small fingers, couldn't wear them either. It was a waste of money. Their dimensions are very inaccurate.

Nice gloves but two fingers broke very easily before our Easter service even started! Maybe a fabric other than cotton would be better.
