My rods have absolutely no hanger/spring (I have 2 at a time) and as a result they won't stay in place and keep falling off. I had to use the Command Picture Hanging Velcro strips to hold the bars in place. (By the way, Command Velcro Strips are 10,000% one of the best products out there.) These rods aren't that great.

This is an excellent durable shower curtain. I am currently using it in my patio door to maintain a thermal curtain that blocks the cold northerly drafts from my front door. Even though the door panel is painted glossy paint, it still holds up and doesn't slide down (unless my naughty teens pull it down on purpose). I highly recommend this simple yet powerful barbell.

We use it in our kitchen to hold pots and pans over the sink and it works great. Very easy to install and won't bend at all with over 10 pounds of dishes hanging from it. I'm buying a second one for another location so yeah I liked it. Excellent price. Super easy installation. The only thing is that after several years of operation it began to fail a little. I use it on wet clothes from swimming or partially dry clothes from the dryer. I also used it fully expanded. For a shower curtain this would be fantastic. This was a great solution for the void space above our stove under the fan. The pole is stretched between the cabinets on either side of the oven, and we hang our oven mitts, scraper mitts, and a cast iron cleaner from it. Third time buying this brand of curtain rods - twice at local True Value hardware store. I've been using tie rods since I was 8 years old and I've never had a single LOCK.
