Ideal for a hockey bite

I bought these specifically for the laces I got from my hockey skates. I play four to five times a week and wear my skates particularly tight. I had red marks on the top of my foot where the last lace was tied on my skates (lower calf). I've been wearing them for over a week now and the red marks on my toes have disappeared and I don't feel uncomfortable playing. It was a find!

The gel is a bit thinner than expected but still works

They work very well. I think the all gel ones might be better for my needs, but the ones with thick socks on top will suffice. I have them for my knuckles, not for the point bite. The right boot of my inline skates digs into my ankle and the entire side of my tongue digs in just above my ankle. So if I just put a gel pad on the inside of my ankles, those areas will be fully protected.

Ideal for reducing sore spots on the sides of the foot

At first I didn't think they would do any good but after 10 uses I can't ride without them. The problem is that even if you bake your ice skates or roller hockey skates, they will never fit perfectly and there will always be painful spots or tight spots in the skates. This insole helps with this as you can position the rubber sock around the foot to equalize these pressure areas. I would say it helps about 75%.

Convenient and efficient, but not durable.

Bought because my hockey skates were starting to bite on the tip. They work well, nice and thin. I wear them OVER SOCKS as they are more comfortable and don't sweat as much. The only issue is the durability of the case. I have very short nails and one of the sleeves ripped the first time I used it. It's a three-inch tear that's almost completely gone. I've used them five times so far. I hope they last at least a few months.

OK. suitable for baselayer and compression

I suffer from severe lace bite. I use waxed laces and tie my skates fairly tightly and neither helps. I bought these plain ones because CCM laces are sold out everywhere. They don't even come close to the quality and thickness of CCM. I've been riding ZenToes for about 10 hours now and they're doing fine. At first it was almost impossible to put them on at my 13ft height, but they seemed to stretch a bit with each use, making them easier to put on each time.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

PERFECT FOR SMALL/THIN SKATER FEET!

I Roller skate with very expensive figure/artistic skates for dance/jam/artistic skating. Brand new artistic roller skate boots work well for my US 5.5 to 6 foot size, but when I step into new skates, I'm almost guaranteed a lace-bite sensation. I was skeptical when I bought them, but thankfully, they shattered my skepticism! I've been using the same pair for a year now and although I don't ride often it's about 3 hours of aggressive dance moves when I ride. These are in good condition. I'm…
