I was planning to wear my cute Donna Karan purse on my shoulder but my mom convinced me to order this purse a few days before my trip to Jamaica. OM goodness it was amazing. It's so thin I wore it under my bridesmaid's dress. Nobody had a clue. It contained my cell phone, money, cigarettes, a lighter and it was still pressed to my body. This wallet is so convenient. All my fellow travelers were jealous.

I got the idea and was looking for one for travel, but it's just a glorified zippered magazine pouch with multiple protective sleeves for maps and documents. Imagine trying to use it while shopping etc! You have to take them all out one by one to get the card you want to use. Where's the security in it? The belt isn't strong either. Haven't returned it yet so can't comment on return policies etc, but it's not the comfy holdall you'd want.

The side that lies against your skin is (potentially) very soft and breathable and when not using it as a fanny pack it lays very flat under your clothing . I actually wear mine under my pants and you really don't notice. The closure is on the inside so it won't rub or dig into your skin, which is handy when you're sitting. The passport and credit card holders come in handy, so if you have big hands this could be a problem.

When answering a question in previous reviews, someone asked about the length of the belt. Zero Grid replied that it fits waists up to 52 inches. I just received mine and stretched to its maximum length it measures just under 38 inches including the backpack itself. Although I don't have a 52 inch waist I found it snug against my pants. I don't want to wear it particularly close to my skin. The material is soft, but produces a "crackle" even when bent slightly. .

Haven't used it on a long trip but used it around town to try it out. It is low, comfortable and has many separate compartments to store items individually. I particularly liked that it has built-in RFID blocking. As a bonus, they sent six credit card-sized RFID sleeves and a passport-sized sleeve to protect items when they're not on the belt.
