🔦 5.5 Inch Zilla Premium Reflector Domes Review

I love these zilla domes. Unlike their plastic counterparts, their frames are made of ceramic and the shades are made of metal, so there is no risk of melting. She is smaller but I have bigger ones for my other snakes and they are amazing.

Sounds like a good deal but you get what you pay for. I've only had it for 2 months, it goes on and off, I have to keep screwing in the bulb. I fell off the children's table 1 time and now it won't turn on. That must be more durable!

Although this lamp met all our requirements, we were disappointed when we had to buy another lamp half a year later. We went through 4 lightbulbs in the time we had. It wasn't worth saving a few bucks when we spent so much more on lightbulbs.

I have been using these domes for many years. I had a problem with the tag so I got a replacement. I'm not sure why this happened. Maybe out of luck. The very first has been working flawlessly for over 5 years. I'll update if anything happens. So far, so good.

Love this lamp! I don't know the other reviews but I ordered 2 and they both have an ON/OFF SWITCH and small clamps for attachment. This product is only for a 60 watt bulb and doesn't have a deep dome so it won't work for all bulbs, but I knew I'd go into it. I have a 60 watt heat lamp in one and a 60 watt ceramic heater in the other over a 20 gallon tank. I'll have to make bigger domes when my lizard grows up, but for now they're perfect!

That was a good price for two domes. However; a dome is damaged. The base isn't straight, which means you can't screw the bulb in straight or all the way in. It will also break your (expensive) lightbulbs. Happy with the price but very disappointed to receive a defective product.
