About a year ago I switched to aluminum free deodorants as much as I wanted to succeed I hated all the ones I could get until I tried this one! I honestly can't recommend it enough, it's smooth and glides easily on the skin, love the smell too, highly recommend

At first the smell was subtle and pleasant, but after 3 days of use the mixture of sweat and this deodorant smelled like a strange body odour. Not a pleasant surprise either. I had to go back in the shower to wash it off and use a different product that didn't have the same effect. All in all, I won't buy this again.

I was really looking forward to trying this deodorant - I have never tried a clay based deodorant. I bought the improved version of Sandalwood and it arrived yesterday and unfortunately I have to throw it away. I'm sensitive to smells and this smell is really intense and repulsive - in a humid VA environment it's really sweet. I think to try with no smell - as soon as I stop throwing away almost $10.

Compared to other "pure aluminum-free" deodorants, I like that the texture is soft and feels like a regular speed stick on the skin. It also has a very pleasant smell, better than the well-known brands. However, this product only lasts about 3 hours on your body. I get seriously annoyed by the constant reapplication throughout the day.

Should have listened to other reviews. While I love this scent and love the bold original version of this deodorant, this one doesn't work. It glides smoothly and does not prevent any odor nuisance. I will not buy again.

I only gave this type (silk) three stars because it didn't work for me, but I use the bold version conscientiously and will use it forever.

Husband needed something without baking soda as he was reacting to it. But we wanted something that really works. It has no baking soda and still works at the end of the day. No stains on his white t-shirts. He liked it so much we took one home and one for travel. Good product. The smell is manly and shouldn't feel greasy or he'd complain, and he likes it!

According to FDA regulations, the ONLY deodorants that can legally be called "antiperspirants” are deodorants that contain aluminum. This deodorant line contains "cosmetic clay" and a plant substance known as "lichen," both of which are natural antiperspirants. They're not as efficient as aluminum, but they work. I'm a very heavy sweater and as long as I apply it generously I don't get odor after 18 hours and that's partly due to its natural antiperspirant.

This is an amazing product. The best aluminum free deodorant I've ever tried. I curse a lot so I have to reapply but it takes longer than others I've tried. I've been using it for over a year and will continue to use it while it's on sale!
