If you don't know what size you need, look for the number on the back of the slider on your existing zip, or measure the length of the zip in millimeters. I needed number 7 to fix my coat and that was the only place I could find it. There was a lot more in the kit than I needed but I knew that when I bought it. The exchange was easy. I am very happy with this purchase.

Need a new zipper for my favorite Carhardt jacket. It was a perfect match and the exchange took less than 10 minutes. Simply pry off the clip at the top of the jacket's zipper. The old thrust is removed, the new thrust continues. Put the clip back on. Squeeze the clamp with pliers. Did! Saved a lot of money without going to "pros". Sometimes everything just works perfectly. It was one of those times.

Shipping was ok and the zippers were ok. I put slider #7 on a London Fog leather jacket I bought in 1998. To install the slider I had to remove 3 prongs from either side of the top zipper with a small pair of scissors and I easily slid the slider open. Then I inserted a small clip, a stopper, to keep the slider from falling out when the jacket is attached. The kit included runners and other elements for attaching the zipper.

Seemingly strong. I just received them so I can't say how they will hold up. My problem is that I need a retainer, not a regular stopper. When I try to buy a #7 retainer, even Zipperstop doesn't have one. They have #5, #8, #10, but no #7 to match their own Blitz. I even went to their website, no stop #7. Maybe #8 would suffice? Quality product, arrived quickly and fully complies with the declaration. What I didn't realize when ordering is that it's impossible to attach a split zip (like the one on a jacket) if the stopper at the bottom of one side is missing. I think these tiny stops should be commercially available and designed to slide on and crimp securely with pliers.
