The strainer is not fully attached to its ring which means it can be easily removed for cleaning and because of all the little wires that bend easily it's difficult to get them all back to get into the ring Ring with sharp wires sticking out. At first I ignored it because I thought it wasn't that bad, but since I've been using it and washing my goat milk filter daily it's become annoying and painful. Otherwise I like the whole setup very much.

This little time saver is perfect. Takes a super annoying step out of juice control! I have actually used this for other filter and funnel needs which is great as everything is disassembled and can be used as needed. The mesh filter cartridge is a double mesh, which is more difficult to clean but has excellent stretch. Be careful when cleaning! The smaller neck that screws onto the larger part is very sharp where it screws on. Extremely sharp! He cut my lip. I hand wash to be safe.

We use this to filter goat milk. We use a 6 1/2" filter. It barely allows you to screw the funnel down, but it works. The smaller filter lets particles through as it just fits in the hole. I love that it came with a strainer, although I'm not using it at the moment. It's a very durable filter and the handle is welded on for a snug fit. It fits comfortably over a gallon salt jar. I don't think I've read carefully enough to understand how it can be used for regular or wide mouth jars. I assumed it would be made for a normal mouth and still fit in a wide mouth, meaning it would be big enough. I was wrong! It separates from small to large, making it very versatile. Add to that the fact that there are filters for every application and it's really versatile. I'm also happy with the metal construction. I was looking for a goat milk strainer. The small (2 ¼") milk filters fit perfectly in this strainer and while not held like a dedicated milk strainer, the junction where the two parts of the funnel meet keeps the edges of the milk filter ideally in place for work .. the size of this strainer means it sits in my milk churn (see pic) so I can filter it while milking so there is no need to filter it later.. I was excited to read previous reviews where customers said that the handle tends to fall…
