Hermit crab friendly

I use this product with Zoo Med fruit mix and our hermit crabs seem happy with it. It was the first meal we started with and it hasn't changed since.

My pet is not irritated by this food

I have been feeding my hermit this food for many years. My pet seems to enjoy it, rarely abandons it. The feed is easily distributed in neat little grains. No complaints here.

Good food and doesn't stink!

This seems to be the food our hermit crabs love the most and I've tried a lot over the past two years. The main thing is that this food does not stink. There were a few products that I used for a day or two and then put on a lid and kept in the cupboard just in case of an emergency because of the horrible smell.

We feed a small tail shell and it stays in place nice and clean as they crawl back and forth.

This is high quality food for hermit crabs. Our sprouts are over 5 years old and have grown out of their shells many times. This food is their main diet, along with fresh water and sea salt water. We feed in a small rear pan and she stays in place, nice and clean while they crawl back and forth to feed. I was happy to find her at Revain as she is not always available at our local pet stores.

Easy Ordering - Reptiles & Amphibians

There was nothing special about ordering this product from Amazon but it saved me a trip to the store and I was able to get it in 2 days through my primary membership. . It might sound like I was too lazy to buy the product locally and the reality is that in this case I was. I was able to have it delivered directly to me for the same price without having to shop locally. This is a product I have used in the past so there were no surprises and it was delivered fresh and quickly.

The Good: Reptiles and Amphibians

Since it's hard to tell when/what/how much a hermit crab will eat, I'm not quite sure how popular this mix is with my hermit crabs. I do know, however, that they gnawed at him. They carry the pellets around the tank when I'm not looking and I have to be careful removing them because they mold in the substrate. I've placed a small plate of some pellets and another plate of freshly cut fruit in the enclosure and they both seem to be visited the same way. My previous meal didn't do the crabsโ€ฆ
