My frog loves this as food

I have a Fantasy Frog (Pacman Frog hybrid) and it works. You may have to wave the food in front of the frog's mouth to get it to bite, but my frog usually takes the food when I do. You can also use it to gut feeds. It's worth it if you don't always have access to live food, plus it contains the necessary vitamins and minerals for complete nutrition.

Pros
  • Good to use
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

I haven't had any luck with this product.

I bought this for my Pixie Frog and it didn't go as planned. The food container states that one scoop (which is included) is equivalent to 8 drops of water. That is not completely right. For me, to turn it into a ball, I needed 5 scoops for those 8 drops of water. Rolled it into a ball then rolled it in front of her elf frog and she walked up to it and ate it then spat it out.

Pros
  • Good job
Cons
  • Something else

Packard is satisfied with the product for food

I always feed my Pac-Man with tweezers so this is perfect for me. My friend gets very excited and nervous when I open his cage so he grabbed this food as soon as it was close enough to his mouth. He ate it with no problem and even took a second helping, so I guess he didn't mind the taste. I used this as an additional menu option along with night owls, crickets and grasshoppers so I can't tell you if it works as the ONLY option. It's easy to make and easy to keep! haha I am very happy with this

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I love this thing so much

I love this thing so much! One of my little frogs had trouble with the sliders I use as food and even seems scared of the pieces when I cut them up. I decided to get this food to better provide calcium (night owls produce a slime that causes calcium supplementation to wear off) and I found he would pick up small bits of it much more easily! My Ornate Pacman seems to be particularly fond of it, although I doubt anyone has had a problem with Ornate eating anything at all! Based on the ingredients

My frog is good for reptiles and amphibians

I'm sure this is a great product for a frog of average intelligence. On the other hand, my frog is a giant fool who doesn't know what's good for him. I've tried it in all shapes and thicknesses and I just can't get him to eat it. He'll smack it and put it in his mouth, but once there he'll pretend he's eaten big shit and is CRAZY, pawing at his mouth and thrashing around until it bursts out of his mouth and crashes into his substrate. I tried feeding him for about a month hoping he wouldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not everything fits

MAKE SURE YOU WORKOUT TONG FIRST!

My Pac-Man frog seems to be eating it very well. If you haven't trained the frog's ticks, it won't bite. If you're just starting out with this food, here's how it worked for me. I rubbed my lips for a few seconds so the frog could smell them. Then I started from the middle of the lips and moved to the right (left is also possible) until I reached the shoulder area. When I reached his shoulder, I lowered myself onto his arm, and that was enough to provoke an irritated reaction as his lips parted

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • unreliable

Pyxiecephalus adspersus well eaten

My fairy frog seems to like it. It took him a while to get interested in taking it, but after the first few times he started taking it without hesitation. I love that it has a decent nutrient profile (and includes D3 for those days when he's just getting night owls). The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the packaging is a bit misleading. This is labeled as a "meal replacement" on the label, which can be easily misunderstood by novice hobbyists and lead to this foodโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Other animals did well!

I have 2 Pac Man frogs and only one of them will notice. It was easy to use and IT WAS A SHOVEL, but I had to scoop it up from all over the bottom of the container. I like mixing up the smaller balls and feeding them in bulk, rather than using fewer and larger balls to touch a frog that seems interested. I was curious if this would also be interesting for my other animals. I have dozens of different animal species and a few others seem to like it too. I gave some to my Bufo americanus toad andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
