🦎 Premium Small Corner Bowl for Reptiles - Zoo Med Repti Rock Review

Bought this as a pool for my little frog. The size is perfect for her and the corner of the tank, but it's VERY deep. I solved the problem by filling it halfway with gravel to give it lift and also provide traction. I also had to bury it pretty deep in their substrate. I think this would be great for big herpes eaters because they can't escape!

This is a great reptile bowl. It's a lot deeper than the ones you usually see at the store, which is great for when your big noodle buddies need to soak. My noodles are also very thirsty for the rat and after she drinks the water there is half a plate left which is awesome. I no longer have to bother her while she's digesting to get more water. Easy to clean, very durable, improves my snake's quality of life, overall a great product.

While it works well for a 10 gallon tank, the bowl is actually much deeper than I expected so it's best to keep the water shallow to leave enough to prevent small animals from drowning. Also, it was green instead of the advertised shades of gray. But at least it leaves enough room to roam freely if you're worried about decor clutter. I would have given the product 4 stars if it hadn't been delivered a week after the "lost" message.

I am very happy with this dish. It's more than I expected, but it just leaves a lot of room for growth. It will easily fit a 75 gallon tank and a 40 gallon tank, but it will not fit a 55 gallon tank at all. My bowl came exactly like the picture, same color and everything. This material is virtually indestructible so it should last me forever. Worth the price. See my submitted photos to get an idea of sizes in various aquariums, including those with a corn snake.

I ordered both a large and a very large bowl, the size difference between them is huge. I wasn't sure what size I needed so I ordered both. They seem to be great quality and would be great for snake soaking, but I thought there should be a different size between the two, the large is smaller than I wanted and the large X is larger than I wanted. The size difference is really big. I can't give 5 stars for that. But overall great quality, the bowls work fantastic and appear to be of good quality.

So I say small. Keep in mind that the picture shows a 36x18x18 tank setup for my ball python. Instead of a plate of water I added 3 small ones as his morph is known to be fickle and deep water is not suited to them. This baby is so cute, I left him on one of the many skins in his aquarium. The delivery was very fast, the customer service was very nice after my purchase. Just make sure you measure this cute little thing to make sure it's what you're looking for. I am very happy

Ordered larger! I have this to give to either my bearded dragon or ball python. It will work for both to be honest, but I will be giving it to my dragon and ordering a very large one so my ball python can fully submerge in water. She probably could, but there wouldn't be much room for water with her either. There is a small bubble on the bottom so it wobbles a bit but that won't be an issue with the substrate in the cage. I bought a large size for my young ball python Sassi which has a spider swing. The dish I received was mint green with opalescent white swirls. Everything on it is very matte, matte and smooth. Very safe for the wobbly snake. The outer part slopes slightly inwards and gently towards the water making it easy to get up and Sassy didn't have the slightest problem getting out.
