Powerful for the price

Solid headlamp for your hat. Haven't used the strap, but I'm always wearing a hat/bump cap on the factory floor. Puts out a good bit of light. I only use the on/off button, no motion detection. I wish the angle adjustment on the rotational part had more resistance, it moves to easily and won't always hold the position you want if you are moving a lot. That's the only con I have with it.

Died in eight hours

It's car headlight bright and gets hot enough to burn you, until the heat kills the light after maybe 8 hrs total use and then it's trash.

This is a very cool headlamp solution on a small scale.The light is reasonably bright and meets my need for backyard puttering after dark and nighttime response when things go bump in the dark back there.The two modes—always-on and motion-response—work seamlessly.If you wear this on the brim of your cap, you'll want to make sure that cap fits snugly and has a strong bill.I wear it with the included headband. Second Time Is a Charm

Update:They replaced the light and the new one works great. Puts out enough light to light up a big area of our back yard. The focus beam is a nice feature. The no touch on/off is gimmicky. The light is adjustable (rotates 180 degrees) so it can clip on your hat brim or your shirt pocket. Overall it seems like it will be a good light.Original ReviewThe lights are on but no one is home. Great product at a fair price.

Exceeded my expectations. Other cap lights were OK but not at all bright. This one is perfect.indeed, while walking early in the morning folks I've met have commented on what a great light it is. I agree.

A good head lamp for a cap

This is a great headlight, very bright, easy to recharge and put on a baseball cap. I was looking for one like this. It is really bright and should be more than enough light for your needs.

Super helpful for walking dogs

Super helpful for dog waking after dark. Very bright light and long range to see far in front. I have 2 of them and my husband liked it so much I got him one too. He carries it in his pocket while walking as it much smaller and brighter than our flashlights.
