Coinbase was my first Bitcoin wallet, for me, it was perfect for understanding the Bitcoin ecosystem. Perfect wallet if you don't want to install one in your computer, extremely easy to use but I wouldn't recommend it as an exchange because of the high fees.

Pros
  • - Easy to use, perfect for beginners - Send money to a Coinbase address for Free - Many currencies - Send money to PayPal instantly (within 1 minute) - Nice support
Cons
  • - High fees when exchanging for FIAT - You're asked for full verification (ID and proof of address) for registering a wallet. Anonymity restricted

If you are new to crypto, this is the wallet for you. easy to use and a lot of fun dapp's.

Pros
  • I downloaded this app, and started using it today, the decentralized app aka Dapp section rocks!!! You can even link you Coinbase account to the wallet for easy transfer, vary fast and easy to use.
Cons
  • you have to go into setting to set a pass phase, it does not make you in the beginning, i see a lot of lost funds, because people dont bother with the setting.

It's a great application to use as a Cryptocurrency wallet since you're able to transfer Fiat currencies into your account then swap them to cryptocurrencies! In my opinion that is a genius idea! The best Crypto wallet regarding the commission they take, security, anonymity and ease of use system interface.

Pros
  • - Ease of use - 2FA enabled - Trading possible - Wide range of cryptocurrencies - Easy to acquire cryptos with Paypal - Crypto purchase available in seconds - Not a huge amount of fees/commission taken while depositing or withdrawing

  • - None that I can think of

Pros
  • coinbase wallet is simple and easy to use and highly secure at the same time.
Cons
  • the capacity of the wallet is quite limited in terms of holding the different types of crypto. As an exchange as well as wallet + other services, I expect coinbase to add support for more cryptocurrencies
