This looked too big for a newborn when I received it, but I’m happy I kept it. My baby was 8 lbs. and it fit her perfectly for hospital pictures. Swaddle your baby first with a small blanket and then put the cocoon on. You can also use the cocoon to prevent a swaddle from coming undone. This definitely took some time to assemble. I had to make sure I used the correct screws, etc because I didn't want to mess it up. The instructions were fairly easy to understand. Some of the parts were not labeled so I had to be careful. You just have to make sure everything is lined up just right. Once all was done it looked pretty good! Medium fit mocha colorI gave this a 3 out 5 its not as compressed as i was hoping it to be. Had lipo done was looking for a tighter garment. The leg fabric of the garment was more compressed than the tummy garment i am 5'2 weigh 174 and has 4 rows of hook the 4th being the tighest i got it and started wearing the 4th row so clearly not tight enough or compressed. Unfortunately i was extremely disappointed WITH this body makeup. According to my experience, the color payoff was subpar and the formula felt heavy and uncomfortable on my skin. The longevity was also a major issue as the makeup started to fade and smudge within a few hours, even with minimal movement.
