They’re smaller than expected. The base is close to the size of a dime. Didn’t know they were going to com where I had to screw the hook part into the base. Wasn’t hard just unexpected and time consuming. I was hoping for something more like my grandma use to have. Where the base was about as big as a quarter. Clean clean clean. Vacuum, degreasing cleaners, and isopropyl alcohol. I took a wire brush to slight rust spots. Easy to cut. You will need lots of blades, I suggest getting a knife with snap off blades. Get multiple size width rollers. Take your time, and lay out in small sections. Pre fit and cut out any screws, nuts, bolts, plugs you may need access to in future before removing back paper. I really liked the looks and the weight of these hiking boots. A lot of the reviews said that these ran narrow in width, which is exactly what I wanted, as I have a B/C width foot.
