The size looks big until you put things in it. I would not recommend this for your brushes. The only space big enough is the bottom which is unfortunate because any big palette will only fit there also. The side drawers are too short. I thought I would use them for lipsticks so I could see colors easily but you can only fit them lengthwise which means only 2 will fit and you can't see the color. Last year I bought a men's jacket from the same brand for my husband. He took the season and he really liked it! Really warm and waterproof. The headband is beautiful. I was going to use it for a 1920's Gatsby theme Catholic Charities Fundraiser. The only problem was it was too heavy and uncomfortable for my head. I ordered this coat at the last minute for a trip to Minneapolis. It is well made but I did not find it to be exceptionally warm. If you have the hood on, scarf around neck, and zipped all the way up, it works pretty well. It did not keep out the wind as much as I was expecting. Its cute but it looks just like all the other coats the women were wearing. One thing that would be better would be to have a couple of more snaps for the faux fur to attach better with no gaps.
