I use Ethereum since 2016. First what I noticed was that I can't use official client because it doesn't work good and I should use some other client, that's dissapointing. There are lot of clients which I didn't have problems with like: Metamask or MyEtherWallet (but only using it in offline wersion, there is also problem with MEW to make safe transactions that it is tedious and takes a lot of time if you use offline generated txs). I was using this once and I see it's a good way to export our wallet to metamask and do some payments in casinos, gambling sites, games, DEXes etc. As this use it's safe, but to store cryptos for long time I think it's too much time and there are free options to create all these wallets which accepts all Ledger Nano S cryptocurrencies ( for example Ian Coleman BIP 39, generated seeds can be imported to Ledger Nano S). Dash is one of coins which provide private and public transactions. I used it few times in Cryptocurrency ATM to convert it to cash and Dash is a good way for this use. Transaction takes minimum 15 minutes ( it's needed 6 confirmations to get withdrawal). I used exodus wallet, dash wallet and mobile dash wallet, and any problems which i had was with mobile wallet (it was a problem with synchronization and i had to use backup to restore it). I had some contact with litecoin in last 5 years and I see it was improved so much in this time. I used it to pay for some internet services and in last year exchange to cash. As a payment I think litecoin it's too slow, If a seller needs 6 confirmations it takes min. 12,5 minutes ( 6 blocks x 2,5 minutes), so it's not best for very speed txs or microtransactions like 0,001 $ for some very small activities/services/goods because it's fees are too big for that.
