It is great once the size of your dressing is diminished and you can fit your fingers comfortably into it. However, if your hand is heavily wrapped, or if you have a cast, you won't be able to get your hand into it. Once you can though, it works like a dream, because you can use your fingers freely and feel things. It is so much better than putting a garbage bag over your hand and trying to tape it up.
