why Ethereum?
The ethereum network is very robust, with many people developing and using it, so its value will perhaps reach what is today bitcoin. The Ethereum network will soon surpass bitcoin, with many companies and people working on its code, thousands of tokens are created and many will be, even though scalability is not the best, ethereum is far ahead of other blockchain.
It still has a lot to offer, and we are at the beginning of a revolution, so everywhere, people have used cryptography in their lives, from the simplest to the most complex forms. Paying bills and working from home or office using smart contracts, this will be something of everyday life for the whole planet.

if Ethereum will reach values like those of bitcoin I don't know, I just know that it is a highly useful system in our daily lives, however, it has many direct competitors, such as EOS, TRX among others, so the need to constantly are updating themselves.

Ethereum really has a really robust network, maybe it reaches its maximum value very close to what BTC is, I just think that this is not yet possible because the ETH network still needs more scalability and speed, as there are already many networks in competition with that of ETH today in the market.
