Hyperion - new use case of blockchain
Hyperion has brought to us interesting idea how to utilize blockchain technology. They want to usee blockchain for map data. Hyperion created a decentralized map platform. Their target is to have so called “One Map” vision - to provide a unified view of global map data and services and to make it universally accessible. The platform itself is well designed and easy accesible. The main problem is that it has not yet attract many followers. It will be hard to disrupt this industry with such players as Google. I t would be great if Hyperion will cooperate with some established company. Nevertheless it is always nice to see the new usecases of blockchain.
