Lisk is a project founded in in 2016 by Max Kordek and Oliver Bedowsi with the objectives of providing a platform that can allow different developers to deploy their decentralized application from their own little blockchain onto the main blockchain.
They achieved this by using modular cryptocurrency which make it possible for every blockchain apps to run on developers sidechains separate from the main.
The technology use DPOS consensus mechanism to link all sidechains to the main blockchain.
Lisk support the use of JavaScript and by offering Sdk written in JavaScript, lisk enables million of developers world wide accessible way to create their own decentralized apps.
