Like, buy and buy more!

I like it very much! Both bedrooms in the apartment I just moved into have no lights, just a few outlets and bare ceilings/walls. This thing fills the room with light. I agree with what other commenters have said about the 'cheap' base (it's a large piece of low quality metal covered in plastic) and I think the sconce is a bit flimsy. looking but. It doesn't bother me at all and I wonder how a cheaper/cheap base would affect the daily use of the lamp, it's rock solid. The fixture withstood the 100 watt "heat lamp" I replaced on my bathroom fixture without even warping. I also shortened the lamp from the box, four pipe threads together. I had to cut and reconnect the wiring (at your own risk, see for yourself). After cutting the wire, I removed one of those sections of tubing, which shortened the lamp so it sat on my computer desk. Really makes a lot of light, and while it's semi-disposable / "one-time cheap" I see no reason not to try and pack it up and take it to your next apartment/house.
