After purchasing a couple other umbrellas for the beach, this one is a homerun! I watched the video from another customer and decided to give it a try. I dug a hole as suggested to get to packed sand, screwed in the base and popped in the umbrella. Was probably blowing around 25 mph and was rock solid and offered the protection we needed from the Naples sun. Worth every penny not having to worry about chasing it down the beach. No one wants to be that guy.

Purchased just weeks before going to beach. Needed a big enough one to give baby in cart and at least 1 adult to sit in shade.The poles are a little on the light side, infact the bottom pole (there are 2) which goes into the anchor took a little hit from either wind or removal from sand to careless. I bought an umbrella instead of an ez up for me as I go to the lake by myself and did not want the hassle of the ez up. Never had the opportunity to use the umbrella from the first opening. The plastic arms did not sit correctly into the plastic teeth at the top of the umbrella. When sliding the grey plastic handle to the top of the pole to open the umbrella, the sliding portion did not lock into place easily. This was such an adorable price for such a high quality umbrella. We used it at the beach this year and it stood out and easy to see from a distance. It was very sturdy and so easy/quick to assemble. So glad we got this and we will look forward to using it every year!

This umbrella is very sturdy and easy to put in the sand. It may not hold up to a really windy day though. My husband bought a long drill bit for his cordless drill to get the umbrella’s anchor started and it works wonderfully.

Nice umbrella, lightweight, easy to put up. Have not used it in strong winds yet. Sand anchor is ok. The metal one with the corkscrew is the best.

I got stuck on an island during a bad thunderstorm and this umbrella saved my butt. I had to turn it sideways to block the 40 mph sustained wind but it never failed. Definitely worth the $$$

This worked great for us at the beach- we used it a week. It comes with a a carrying bag, so it was easy to carry to the beach and easy to get back in the beach when we were leaving. My husband didn’t have any trouble getting the anchor in the sand either. I was big enough for three to enjoy some shade! BEAUTIFUL color! Great buy, especially for the price!

Perfect umbrella for two maybe three. We were looking for something light and durable outside of the four leg canopy. It seemed to hold up with little wind very well. Love the bag. Very light.

Just got back from the beach where we used it every day for a week. I can tell you I never worried about it coming out of the sand. I was even amazed to see that the anchor was only halfway put in the sand by the kids and it still was sturdy. Never had a chance to use the tilt feature. Overall great value for the money

The umbrella in itself is a niceumbrella, and, once I finally had it secured in the sand up very well. My only complaint is the part that you screw in the sand.I’ve used a similar style for years and its always worked well, but for whatever reason this one to me was extremely difficult to get secured. We had a very windy beach day and this held up like a champ. Most of the other umbrellas were caving in or flipping out but our held its ground. Definitely glad we got it

Assembles easy, but does not screw into the sand well, very difficult to screw into beach sand , takes a long time to make a hole as it just pushes the sand up instead of actually screwing Into the sand like most do. You would be better off digging a hole with a shovel. Then place Into the hole. In my opinion, just a bad design compared to others I have used.

Pretty good umbrella for the price. Have been using it a lot at the beach this season in Florida. I like the screw in base a lot, heavy duty and holds up in the wind really well. The umbrella shakes a bit in heavy wind compared to some others I see but so far has stayed up well. Id recommend this one for sure.

It's easy to put together and to carry, easy to screw in sand and has a nice large canopy.The only complaint I have is that the mechanism that keeps the umbrella open ( the catch) is pretty fickle and sometimes it takes several tries to make it catch and stay open. Once done it's sturdy, easy to incline and quite good.

The clip that keeps the umbrella open was very hard to get to stay in the correct position. Overall the umbrella looks nice, good fabric and nice travel bag. But I do wonder how much it will hold up with the clip not working as well as it should. Not sure if it’s a one off situation.

Nice umbrella but the 7' claim is simply deceiving if not deceptive. Note that there are no pictures on this listing illustrating the 7' claim. When the umbrella is open and you measure the opening at it's widest point, it is 6 1/2'. Period.

Not only is this umbrella attractive, it’s also easy to get into the sand. The umbrella comes with a screw shaped attachment that helps you drive the pole into the sand properly. It stayed in place during a light wind. For more security you could add a sandbag. Sun protection was great.

This assembly is easy but with winds along Cocoa Beach it popped out of the sand. Someone helped us dig a deeper hole and we put the umbrella thru the cooler handle and no more problems! However the metal on the pole was dented from the wind grabbing it. The umbrella itself held up great in the winds.

This umbrella is easy to carry and and assemble! It provides a decent amount of shade for 2 people and the ability to tilt the top part is helpful. No regrets here.
