15-Foot Round Sun2Solar Solar Cover: Keep Your Pool Warm And Clean! Review

I've had solar covers for years now and can usually get 2 years use out each cover. Last year I decided to purchase this brand. Before the end of 6 months of use the bubbles began separating from the cover and made a constant mess of floating plastic. I contacted the seller and they said the bubbles delaminating were not covered and that only the main part of the cover failing or delaminationg would be pro rated and covered. I would not recommend this brand based in experience.

Glad I got the heavier MM thickness helps heat the water better than the thinner 8mm. Good product for the $$ The cover is not resistant to high temperatures.

The quality and durability of this item appears excellent. It was wrapped in a heavy-duty white cloth-type of wrapping. However, I found a half dozen flat, wooden splinters, both small and quite large sticking through into the solar cover inside, creating various holes in the solar cover. Not sure how this would have occurred, but my suspicion is that the item was dragged across a wooden pallet a few times?

Came a little large which is good for a custom fit. It's big, thick/durable, and can be a little cumbersome for one person but it can be put on and removed with a little perseverance. Over all I am very happy with this solar cover.

We have bought several pool covers over the years and this one by far is the thinnest. I knew it was a thinner pool cover but I'm afraid it's going to rip every time I take it off. Hopefully it will last the summer.

We just purchased this solar cover this year. Our pool is already at 76° . Our pool wasn’t that warm at the end of the summer last year. Definitely works!

This worked very well this spring. Heated the pool within a couple days. Kept the water from evaporating. That's my feedback.

Well, overall this is a great heater for our above ground pool. I live in San Diego, about twenty mins from the ocean so our temps are in the 73’ish range. This heats the pool up a few degrees which is nice. My only downfall is that it has ripped and has come apart already, and it hasn’t even been a month yet. We can still use it, which we do, but it’s like a puzzle piece now! lol Not a big deal for me considering what I paid for it, but just be aware it may not stay together after a few uses…

I thought it would be a heavy duty one and it's not. But so far the wind hasn't blew it to the center of the pool. That's my review.

This is the first solar cover that I didn’t have to trim for the diameter. Still trimmed around ladder for fit. The cover is cumbersome and difficult to roll onto the pool.

It's been 90 degrees here for 3 days and this pool is WARM. Water temp at 85. I filled it up with hose water and in just a short time it's so warm. Totally worth it

I absolutely recommend this cover. It has stayed on in incredibly high winds and heated the above ground pool to a pleasant temp in less than a week! My previous traditional covers would not heat the pool and were cumbersome to put on and take off, not this one. I highly recommend it and am so glad I chose this one

This solar cover has been a blessing. The pool chemicals remain stable much longer because the pool is covered, cutting our chemical use in half. We have been able to raise the temperature of the pool by anywhere from six to 10 degrees, depending on the amount of sunshine. There is the additional benefit of protection from debris, and vacuuming and skimming have really been minimal. Fits great I wish I may have gotten a better rollup mechanism because I hand gather it and put it on hooks on the outside of the above ground pool. Would’ve been nice to roll it up that would keep it clean and then move it out of the way.It really helped to heat the pool this spring. Don't expect them to last forever. got 3 years out the last one- beware that when they do go. they deteriorate pretty fast and you end up dealing with bits and pieces during the 3rd year as you try to squeeze another season out of it.would be nice if the had grommets around the perimeter - although I could add some easy enough, so I can tie it down. it actually spins around in the pool if I aim pump inlet such that it creates a circular current. kind of fun watching it spin, no biggie.

This cover is great! I did a lot of research as to what colors and styles to buy. This was purchased to replace my older solar cover.It’s light weight, and a bit bigger than my 24’ pool surface which is great! My old one was too small and didn’t cover the whole surface! Had it for a two months and you can really tell the difference in temp. Also helped keeping water treated with my chemicals. I noticed more chlorine is lasting longer. Would get an extra set of hands to take off as the covers Helps with debris from trees too and you can get it out and spray clean- thus less cleaning for the pool.

The product was delivered ahead! Unfortunately, when it was put on pool, we spotted several small holes and one about the size of a $.50 piece. Customer service was fantastic! We sent pictures to them and within a few days we received a new cover! This product is very thick and should easily hold up for several years. Quality, great! Customer service, great! Will buy from again!
