Yes it warms the water up.

Fits great I wish I may have gotten a better rollup mechanism because I hand gather it and put it on hooks on the outside of the above ground pool. Would’ve been nice to roll it up that would keep it clean and then move it out of the way.It really helped to heat the pool this spring. I read somewhere about a 7-10 degree F temp improvement and I wouldn’t doubt that. We were slow filling from our well. Took about a week and it’s temp is in the 60’s and after the fill we had a week of 40’ s at night and 50-60’s during the day though a hot sun and it got the temp up to 72degrees.

Pros

It is a little thin when putting on or taking off you have to be careful not to RIP the cover

Cons

The cover reduces the overall aesthetic appeal of a pool

The cover works nicely to help heat up and maintain the temperature of the pool. It''s very large so not easy to handle by yourself. We have a lot of trees in the yard so it catches a lot of debris and is very hard to hose off because of it''s size. I''ve thought about cutting it but not sure that it would then float on the water as intended. Overall it does a good job.
