FridaBaby Mom Perineal Healing Foam: Pain Relief & Swelling Reduction for Postpartum Care Review

I expected the hospital to provide witch hazel pads after I gave birth to my second, like they did when I had my first. They no longer provided it, so I ordered this foam. I was a little hesitant at first, only because everything was "fresh” down there. It was such a good decision, it helped me so much with pain. I definitely recommend getting this foam if you’re approaching labor.

Highly recommend! I used during my postpartum instead of the ones the hospital gives you. At first, it was a little weird feeling having foam down there but I got use to it. The foam quickly desolves and doesn't leave a sticky feel. It's cool and helped sooth. I used it 2-4x day and two weeks later I still have plenty. Highly recommend!

I didn’t care for the smell of this product. It does provide some relief but I preferred the Mama & Wish brand, it had a more pleasant scent and I feel worked slightly better

I LOVE this stuff! I just gave birth last week vaginally. My perimeum took quite a beating, has been very sore round the clock. I put this stuff on my pad at least 4 times a day to get a break from the pain. I know there are a lot of similar products-tucks pads, sprays, etc. This is just so much easier than those in my opinion. Just squirt a line or two in the middle of your pad, pull your panties up, press the pad slightly and squat a little to open the area and done!

Heard good things and decided to try it. Highly recommend for postpartum! It really helped with itching and pain relief!

I delivered my baby about a week ago!I purchased this witch hazel foam and the Frida brand ice pads. I didn’t use the ice pads once I got home but the foaming spray I was happy I bought to have ready when I got home!The hospital where I delivered had witch hazels pads ( wet thin circle kinda looked like one of those acne wipes?!) that you could lay on top of the absorption pad or use to kinda wipe/pat the area.I took home what was left in the room to use at home but I am still glad I bought the

I ordered this for my postpartum stash, im due any day now. I just received my order today and when I was putting it away, I glanced at the EXP date. it's 10/22. I wasn't able to return so I got a refund. Guess I'll have to buy it in store to make sure I don't get an expired one.

I like this product but I think the marketing and packaging makes it seem better than it is. The packaging is beautiful and is ascetically pleasing but for long term use it’s not the beat option. Because it’s a foam it makes your pad pretty wet. The last thing you want is more moisture. It did provide cooling relief but the bactine with lidocaine worked much better and was multi purpose. I didn’t end up finishing my bottle and just used the bactine.

The product was amazing! I had a few stitches after my delivery and this helped numb and keep the pain at bay. Easy to use pump. No real scent to it. I suggest everyone add it to their hospital bag. It was way more help than the numbing spray given to me by the hospital.

I personally did not like the aerosol of Dermoplast it was uncomfortable to spray down there especially the first couple days out of the hospital so I bought this and it is so much better! I feel like it really helps relive any discomfort down there! Love this so much that I bought a second bottle halfway through the first so I don’t run out! A must have for postpartum.

I am a 42 year old woman premenopausal and have been experiencing heavy, prolonged periods, which as you can imagine has left me chafed "down there”. Having to wipe and change my pads often, which by the way when you pair this foam spray with Tena’s overnight pads, the two together helps immensely with heavy, prolonged periods. This was a must have in my postpartum recovery! I had a fourth degree tear and I used this everyday until I was completely healed! I love this product.

I so wish I would’ve bought this first! This was so much easier to use and it would get in those crevices, spots that the tuck pads wouldn’t!

This is a fantastic product. I had my first baby in August and had a pretty rough postpartum. Everything was sore and uncomfortable. I used this foam religiously and it bright a lot of relief. If you’re having a baby do yourself a favor and get yourself some Frida foam!

I delivered an 8 lb 15 oz baby, who had the gall to get her shoulder stuck on my pelvis, resulting in 3rd degree perineal tearing. This product turned out to be great, but with a few caveats.1. If you apply as instructed - by squirting the foam onto a pad - you’ll be left with a deeply uncomfortable ticklish, drippy feeling and no pain relief. If you are newly post-partum from a vaginal delivery… do yourself a favor and buy this! This was an absolute GOD SEND for pain relief and overall comfort while I was recovering.

Brought this with me to the hospital when giving birth to baby #2 - this worked so much better than the tucks pads. I used this right on the pads they gave me at the hospital and then for the weeks right after birth I put it on any pad I wore. I really believe that this kept the pain away and helped in the recovery.

Okay so I've never given birth but I've had some issues with tearing when my boyfriend and I have sex. This product helps me feel so much better afterward.If you have a well-endowed partner and have issues with tearing, this is a great product!

This stuff was great. I used it for wiping after taking a number 2 💩. I just squirted some onto the toilet paper before wiping. I did get hemroids from pushing baby out and I felt like this stuff helped get me more clean and fresh.
