Must have for postpartum

I had a 2nd degree tear and this really aided in my recovery and relief. This whole product line is worth the splurge. You will thank yourself later

Pros
  • Application is pain-free
Cons
  • May not be as effective for postpartum discomfort caused by mastitis

A godsend post partum!

This is literally so cooking and relieves pain. It’s hands down a post partum staple. It’s so much easier than trying to apply straight which hazel from a bottle onto a pad!

Pros
  • Easy to use. Use for afterbirth. Easy to pack in a purse, baby bag for on the go. Comforting.
Cons
  • Not suitable for individuals with sensitive skin

Did provide post partum relief

I don't know about other women but for me the dermoplast spray really stung but this didn't. It was gentle and easy to use. I would definitely recommend. I did get other frida pp care products but to be honest this was the only one I ended up using.

Pros
  • Pain Relief Rubs
Cons
  • May require additional postpartum care products for maximum effectiveness

Didn’t work well for me

I’m giving this four stars only because this didn’t work for me. I am a bit disappointed because I was really looking forward to this working for after having my baby. For me I don’t know what happened or if I had a reaction because I swelled up more using this than without.I know it works for a lot of other people but didn’t for me.

Pros
  • Helps to restore confidence after birth
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with substance abuse disorders

Great for postpartum healing!

Fantastic for natural birth recovery. Simply spray onto a pad. Initial sensation is strange but well worth it. May not be suitable for individuals with mental health conditions.

Pros
  • Provides a feeling of cleanliness
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with mental health conditions

LIFE SAVER best in my review

I lived off of this foam! The spray the hospital gave me just wasn’t covering it. After everytime I went to the bathroom I used it and got instant relief! I had a second degree tear in birth and it was so hard to even sit down but this foam helped me heal, find relief, and be able to finally sit down lol.

Pros
  • Leaves no residue or stickiness
Cons
  • May not be as effective for postpartum discomfort caused by surgery

Okay product in my review

This product was okay, if you are going to use Dermoplast (which most hospitals will provide it), I do not think it’s necessary to have both. It has a slight smell to it so I did not like it a lot because of that.

Pros
  • Durante el proceso de tener mi bbe lo utilice y me ha funcionado de buena manera.
Cons
  • May be expensive for some consumers

very necessary postpartum!

this is a LIFE & BUM saver postpartum! my friend got this for me a couple days before i delivered and i’m so thankful she did! i ran out about a week PP and ordered more bc it’s so nice on those sore areas after delivery.application is super easy and mess free. it’s cooling, but not tingly. i personally didn’t love the peri ice packs from the hospital— too cold and difficult to sit on but this foam gave me instant relief!

Pros
  • NEW FRIDA MOM, CREATED BY FRIDABABY, the makers of NoseFrida, Fridet the MomWasher, and the best selling baby care kits.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all skin types

Not worth buying for my opinion

Do yourself a favor and buy dermoplast instead! This is just which hazel, same as tucks pad, which is more to keep the area clean than to relieve pain. Dermoplast is an actual topical pain reliever. Spray that on a tucks pad best of both worlds.

Pros
  • Pain Relievers
Cons
  • Requires careful application to avoid mess and waste

Might work for some

I got this for my postpardum recovery kit. I only used it once. I didnt enjoy the feeling of the foam between my legs. It wasnt soothing for me. I did love the cooling pads without the foam tho. So if you dont like sloshy feeling this might not be for you.

Pros
  • Gives peace of mind
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with compromised skin barriers

Cooling, but there's better out there

I used this product after delivery of my first child for pain relief. I had significant tearing. It's a great product but I honestly didn't really need it. I preferred the Preparation H witch hazel cooling wipes that my hospital gave me. A few of those in my pad gave much more relief than the foam.

Pros
  • Used this after baby #1 and felt immediate relief when put onto a pad! Would definitely recommend.
Cons
  • Doesn’t work

Cue the hallelujah choir!

Okay.hemorrhoids are no fun. They are like the terrible in-laws that never go away completely, and show up uninvited to your dinner table! This stuff.wow! It burns initially, not gonna lie, but 5 seconds of fire down below produces a few hours of heavenly relief! If you can handle the hemorrhoid in the first place, the temporary burning is well worth the relief! It's great that it's a foam bc it's easy application on toilet paper.love it! Frida products for the win!

Pros
  • Boosts immune system
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with acne or other skin conditions

Helpful and very easy to use.

I was given witch hazel little soaked through cotton rounds at the hospital after labor, so I decided to try this product because I already had used witch hazel that day - I never had any stinging or issues that some people write about.Using the foam, which stands up and helps reach and cover everything, was so much better than putting flat rounds into the maxi pad/underwear. Really helpful.

Pros
  • Can be used on all affected areas
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals looking for a non-medicated solution

Highly recommend! Pain relief

I had quite a painful recovery after birth but this product truly helped me and made it more comfortable. It was easy to use (much easier than the bottle of epifoam they give you from the hospital) I would highly recommend this product!

Pros
  • Joint & Muscle Pain Relief
Cons
  • May cause stinging or burning sensation

A postpartum must - my new review

I love this spray way more than the witch hazel pads the hospital gives you. The foam allows for easy distribution and full coverage. You can spray on the pad and then pull everything up like normal instead of trying to wiggle and rearrange the pads. I will be gifting to all my future expecting friends!

Pros
  • Easy to apply
Cons
  • May not be as effective for postpartum discomfort caused by complications

Would repurchase for next time!

At first I was one of those new moms that thought they didn’t need this. Wrong. It’s the perfect fluffy consistency so you don’t feel too wet and 1 bottle lasted me about 2 weeks even using during every pad change. I personally liked this so much more than Tucks pads. You can also use this for hemorrhoids (oh joy).

Pros
  • Provides a cooling, refreshing sensation
Cons
  • May not be recommended for breastfeeding mothers

A MUST for ALL moms!

This product was such a fantastic healing aid; I highly recommend it to all to-be-moms out there! I was right on $ and wasn’t able to buy all the frida mom healing items so after some research I decided to go with this product and that was wise. If you just want to get one thing- this is the one! The foam does sit on top of the pad (as it says) and the cooling sensation is so comforting. I was afraid I may go through it too quickly but it lasted me the for a whole week plus & got me through the

Pros
  • Soothes skin irritation and itching
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or pain during application

Great Postpartum Product

I used this product my fourth day home after giving birth to my second baby and I wish I would’ve got it when I had my first baby back in 2019 but now I know this product worked better for than the witch hazel wipes. What I did was apply this witch hazel foam to my hospital size pads or depends. It worked perfect helping with the pain.

Pros
  • OTC Medications & Treatments
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all types of pain

LOVE this stuff good for me

It feels nice and cool down there after you give birth. I used it after having my 2nd and 3rd and I would have with my first. I recommend it to everyone I know that’s pregnant.

Pros
  • Can be used in conjunction with other postpartum products
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with hypertension

Go to gift for new mom's

After having the worst recovery from a very tough delivery with way more stitches than any one person should ever have down there, I can't recommend this product enough. It will for sure be my go to gift for pregnant mom's. It has provided me with so much relief.

Pros
  • Reduces redness and inflammation
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals on a tight budget
