The 3/8" fitting claim is somewhat misleading as the only 3/8" fitting is the waterline. , which helps, but I'm not sure if going back to 1/4 inch right away, including the drain and faucet lines, does anything significant. Otherwise the device worked great and there were no leaks from the packaging. Delivers great tasting water, less than 20ppm, starting at 325ppm city water. I haven't officially tested the flow but I think with the good incoming city pressure we have the unit will be pretty close to 300 GPD. It filled our 14-gallon tank in under 30 minutes at 130-140 psi on the gauge while running. I'm happy with it! If you're looking for something that performs better than your standard sink mount but still costs less than $750 after you buy the tank, this is it.
