The factory one on my Ram 04 was corroded and I couldn't seal it well
If you are planning on replacing the upper radiator hose and/or thermostat I would buy that too. The factory one on my Ram 04 was rusty and I couldn't seal it well. I tried cleaning and polishing it to a smooth finish but it wasn't worth the time. I ended up buying it and it saved a lot of time and nerves.
