Weak, not very efficient. Without glue

Bought for hermit crabs to increase humidity but does not work. The product works, but maybe I didn't order the right thing for my needs. Doesn't get very hot even on the maximum setting, barely noticeable on a 5 gallon tank. Please note that this product can only be used under the tank. The instructions say not to use glue or nails. More suitable for thin substrate layer
