The fan arrived in perfect condition. It's slightly larger than the average tower fan, which is nice as it covers a lot of area. He's really calm. I like to turn it on at night, not just for cool air, but to shut out all other sounds and noises in the area. Especially birdsong at 5am. It has a bright temperature display, but it turns off when you put it to sleep. It has multiple speeds. I think three. But even at the highest speed, using it is relaxing. I haven't checked the timer yet, since I'm home most of the time I have it on. It has a rotation function. Overall very happy with my purchase!
