Review on Experience Nostalgic Music With KEiiD CD Player Retro Home Boombox: Get The Used-Like New Version For Just $99 by Brandon Teitel

Stupid machine with decent sound

It is very difficult to find a CD player these days which is at all superior to a boom box. This unit has decent sound at a relatively modest price. That's the good part. The bad part is that it is about the dumbest machine I have ever tried to use. It is too big, too heavy, and too ugly. The controls are extremely awkward to use. The remote is very small, which means that the buttons are tiny. I am a woman with modest size hands. I am wondering how a man can even manage the remote. Many functions can only be used via the remote. The date/time can't be set properly. The instruction booklet is very small, and the print is tiny and grey--not black. When you are playing a CD, the unit does not also tell you the time of day--just the elapsed time for the disc. There is no battery backup, so if your power goes out, you have to reset the ##@%&! clock again. Grrrr!
