Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

I bought this player to replace the Fiio X7 Mark II, which was equipped with an AM3B amplifier with a 4.4 balanced output. I liked everything about Fiio, but Made In Chica made itself felt, primarily with a poorly designed operating system and not inspiring confidence in the build quality. Plus the battery drained very quickly. Although the sound was very decent. My Sennheiser HD700 (with 4.4 balanced jack) swayed with a bang and gave out a really audiophile sound. But in early November, I…

Pros
  • 1. Analytical, detailed and musical sound. 2. Genre universal. From Wagner and Sinatra to Coldplay and Lady Gaga, absolutely every genre plays perfectly. 3. Competently made equalizer. True, you do not often have to resort to his services, since by default the player plays more honestly and without sound coloring. 4. Strict male design. 5. Build quality and materials. It's A Sony! 6. Good battery.
Cons
  • 1. A little heavy. But for home listening, this is not a problem. 2. Listen only through balanced 4.4. The usual output at 3.5 is noticeably inferior in sound quality. 3. Poor equipment. For that kind of money, Sony could still put the case in the box with the player as a thank you for the purchase. And so they limited themselves only to the player itself, a strap for the player, a USB cable and documentation. And all. 4. And of course, the branded Sony connector for recharging the player. I won’t say that somehow it interferes and annoys, but it is already obsolete, and not universal.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

The player needs headphones of the appropriate level. I took a Denon AH-D9200 which also needed a Sony balanced cable (4.4). The sound is more interesting from the balanced output. Sony hi-end headphones now come with this cable included. Weird comments below. How can you quickly scratch the player if it comes with a leather case? The battery holds the claimed 30 hours, and if you regularly upload new music, it seems that the battery does not run out at all. The OS is built on Linux, extremely…

Pros
  • Amazing sound! Convenient design allows you to control the player with your eyes closed. I am glad that there is no androyd and unnecessary services. The player is needed to listen to high-quality music, for the rest I have a smartphone and a computer.
Cons
  • The player is too massive and heavy to use on the go. With him you need to get comfortable, close your eyes and taste high-end music. Striking golden color. I would have preferred a calmer color. Non-standard connector for charging and data transfer. Creates a database after each power on, 250 GB will process about a minute.

Golden Sound for Your Tunes

This Hi-Fi player is an electrifying addition to my portable audio devices. The NFC and Bluetooth capabilities create a seamless connection to my other electronics, and the 256 GB storage is ample space for all my favorite tunes. The golden finish adds a luxurious touch to my music experience. The only drawback is the relatively high price point.

Pros
  • Impressive 256 GB storage capacity for a vast music library.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

The biggest drawback is the low volume. Listened to it with multiple headphones. The volume is slightly above average. You need to buy an amplifier for it. The gadget is not mobile anyway, but will become a hospital in general. No FM receiver. A trifle, but it would be nice. Those who don't need it don't listen. Could just make it

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I listened in detail, and then I bought this player in conjunction with the Sony MDR-Z1R ears. I connected both 3.5mm and balanced cable. Compared with Astell & Kern SP1000M at the same price. And with WM1A. And also listened to several other top-end closed headphones, of which Sony turned out to be both the most comfortable and the cheapest. And with detailed listening, perhaps the most balanced in sound. We can say that I chose not separate ears or a player, but a bunch. And I chose Sony's…

Pros
  • * heaviness is good, heaviness is reliable! (C) *very high quality build * battery lasts a little less than an eternity * does not heat up * perfect teamwork with the MDR-Z1R and other top-end Sony headphones via a balanced cable. By the way, the new top Sennheisers (800s, 820, 660s, IE800s) also come with a 4.4mm balanced cable. * actually the presence of this balanced 4.4mm connector. * very convenient control * Thank you Lord, there is no Android here. There is nothing to fail, there is nothing to eat the battery just like that. * interesting technologies like hi-res MP3/AAC upsampling, turntable emulation, analog amplifier emulation that really work! For example, it turned out that the mode of adding surface noise of the plate quite well removes the plastic sound of heavily compressed MP3s! And it's understandable why. * can work as a DAC for a computer * in principle, the built-in memory of 256gb (and even 128gb in the younger model) is enough to store a fairly large music library in CD quality (lossless). The presence of a micro-SD slot, I think, closes the issue with hi-res storage. * the kit comes with a branded case, not very convenient, but partially solving the problem of a gypsy look
Cons
  • * of course I would like it easier * the golden color gives off a gypsy, to put it mildly. But there is nothing to do. But you take it in your hands and you understand that life is a success! )) * the advantages of purely digital amplification were higher (economical, no heating). There are also disadvantages - it does not shake high-impedance headphones well. And in general, power, it is felt, is not always enough. But not in the case of Sonek Z1R with their 64 ohms. * non-obvious influence of the high gain setting on the sound quality, although this setting is separate, and the "direct" mode does not touch it. * the sound quality when connected via a regular 3.5mm mini-jack is worse than in terms of balance. But again, you need to turn off high gain, then not everything is so bad * USB connector (charging, communication with a computer) is proprietary, it is better not to lose the wire. Spare costs 1200r and it still needs to be found. * Write that it takes a long time to ate the database. But this is if a lot of music is added after connecting to a computer, or if a new card is inserted, full of music. And so quite smart.
