This filter really helps, we went from the well water to the Sacramento River and the water has come out brown ever since, which is what you filter in can see, not with the naked eye. Somehow this thing keeps all the brown poop from getting into my kitchen faucet as the cold isn't coming from the water softener. Excellent filtering. The photo shows what kind of rust and sediment has collected 5 microns. How said it works my sink is no longer staining with that ugly color.
