Warm enough for winter climbing in the Northeast!
I love this thing. I climbed a small mountain in the Adirondacks two days ago and knew it was going to be pretty cold in February. I don't think the wind dropped below zero at the top of the tower, but it was definitely freezing and cold there. I brought an extra hat to wear over this hood in case it's too thin, but didn't need it at all. It was so comfortable and protected my face from the whipping icy wind. Love it! I will wear it on every winter hike.
