Great skipping rope! They were out of the 7ft ropes so I ordered two 8 ft ropes and shortened one very easily for my petite 6 year old(she's the average height of a 5 year old) @ 43". I can easily lengthen it again if I need to. I kept one at 8ft for her taller friends when they come over and the 8ft works fine for them. These ropes swing and keep their momentum better than the regular store bought ropes out there.

I started with a "fast speed cable" then tried an old fashioned leather rope, finally settled on this. It literally blows the others out of the water across the board. It's correctly weighted, dirt cheap, easy to see in dim light, and durable.This reminds me of the jump ropes I used in elementary school, and I can see why it's the default: it simply works better then the other varieties. I love these jump ropes, I remember them from elementary school and I've never found one I like as much.The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is because the heights are a little off. I'm 5'4" (well, almost but not quite) which would fall under the 8' rope. However, it is a tad too short, I keep getting tripped up on it. I'll be purchasing the 9' instead.

These are great quality jump ropes--like the ones I used to have in school gym class! I bought them a little longer since my kids are younger and I wanted them to be able to use for several years. My tallest is 56" and the 7 ft rope was perfect length--the 8 ft length works fine she just wraps the end around her hands once.

I purchased this jump rope for my daughter and she loves it. I was able to remove some of the beads to make adjust for her height and arm length. As she gets taller, I will be able to put the links back on the rope because no cutting was required. No need to purchase a new jump rope!

Perfect for my seven year old. The plastic seems cheap so I won't be surprised if some of the segments start to chip or totally break off. But like I said its for a seven year old so for what it is, it is perfect.

The quality seems fine so far, only had this for about a week. My son was excited that it was rainbow colors. But i should have ordered a smaller size. He’s 5 and we got the 10 foot rope. It’s too long for him to use right now. So I’ll hang onto it until he grows a bit more. I was able to use it though and it functions as you would expect.

Cute, lots of small colorful plastic pieces that move and make noise, very attractive to dogs. It was really fun picking up the hundreds of tiny plastic fragments from my carpet. I should have made sure it was out of reach. Had a lot of fun bonding time with my pup while I checked her stool for signs of intestinal damage for a few weeks. Kids never touched it. Or the replacement I bought. Don't worry, pup didn't find that one. Kids just didn't care.

Love this jump rope and the colors! Reminds me of when I was a kid- my kids love these too. This is adjustable so you can make it smaller if necessary. Untie the knot at one end and remove a few plastic pieces - easy.

Got mine in the mail yesterday and it was just what I needed. I was using a 4 dollar jump rope from walmart and the thing just kept tangling no matter what I did and it would bounce on the floor making it catch on my legs. The beaded jump rope has neither of those issues, since the beads keep it from twisting and tangling, while also providing enough weight that they don't bounce off the floor as I skip.There IS excess rope and the beads aren't all along the rope for one very important reason…

Got this just for fun to use for exercising and to allow the kids to have something fun to use. I am 5'3" and had to get the 9' rope, the 8' is too short. The sizing chart was off. Other than that this rope is perfect for fun, won't be doing double unders with it so if that's the plan get a good speed rope.

A little lighter in weight than the ones I grew up with that we used in school but a great product nevertheless. I am going to purchase a few more of these and the larger ones as well, for double dutch, etc. Shipped in a timely manner as well. Our whole family loves these ropes!

Pretty, bright colors. Perfect for kids size. The quality was a little disappointing. One hand one each jump broke within the 1 week . My daughters are 8 and 10 and they dont really pay rough . ( 1 bought 2)

The jump rope is too long for me and I am 5'7. I had to wrap it up around my hands to use it. I would have bought a size smaller. That's my feedback!

Bought for kindergarten girl who loves to jump rope and school didn’t have enough supply. She lives it and it works perfect for what she needed. I did have to shorten the rope to tighten the gap between handle and beads.

This is a great jump rope. It doesn't really hurt the backs of your legs when you miss. It's light weight and great for beginners or anyone looking for a simple durable jump rope. At 6' 3 the 10 ft version worked for me but my wife, nearly a foot shorter, needed the 8 ft version. We are enjoying the ropes and looking to buy the Double Dutch versions next.
