Great Jump Rope for Kids

The adjustment is done by untying and re-tying the knot in the rope, and removing the extra sections. Our daughter loves it and basically taught herself to jump with it in a week.

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to carry
Cons
  • May require regular replacement of beads or rope

Good for beginners in my review

I'm a Crossfitter, and I bought this rope to practice my double unders. I didn't like the lighter ropes, and I wanted to learn with a partial handicap. I've practiced with this weighted noodle rope, and I found it to work well. I initially thought it would be too long for my needs, as I am 5 foot 10 inches; however I've grown used to it, and I hold the rope out to my side a little more to compensate. I can't complain about this rope, and I say it works well for me.

Pros
  • ‎unisex-child
Cons
  • Requires adequate space for use

Summer Fun: my feedback

Bought this for my 5 yr old granddaughter - I like the looks of it! Her favorite colors are pink and purple so that works. I thought being plastic it may be easier to use for her than a really lightweight flimsy rope - and it would make a little clicking sound when she used it. Haven't given it to her yet so not sure if I was right or not.

Pros
  • Provides a fun way to get active
Cons
  • May not provide enough physical challenge for older children

Just like school on my review.

I bought this for my daughter. She was trying to jump rope with a piece of twine. the twine sucked as it had no weight to it and didn't swing around as needed. I remembered these segmented Jump Ropes from school and thought it would be perfect. This arrived fast as always. this is nice bright and colorful. My childs favorite color is purple so perfect. I got the smallest one as she is short and just 4.she kinda has tried to jump but needs help learning, i get it, it is a process. So she hasnt…

Pros
  • Best jump rope!
Cons
  • May require adult supervision for proper use

Happy with purchase

I’m a product of the 80s. This jumprope is just like the ones we had in elementary school back in the day. Product arrived as described and my first grader hasn’t destroyed it yet :)

Pros
  • Inspires creativity and imagination
Cons
  • Could be too noisy for some indoor environments

This is ready to use for beginning jumpers. The rope ones get stuck on the concrete and you can't feel them swing around. This one feels like the ones they use at school, they can feel it swing around to know when to jump and it doesn't get stuck on the concrete. Room to adjust (see photo). It makes the classic clicking sound as you jump, great nostalgia for the grown ups!

Pros
  • Rope is very lightweight so there is a max speed you can jump. Great for beginners.
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for frequent use

Perfect for my 7 year old’s birthday!

It’s adjustable and light weight to be just her size. She is jumping all the time now b/c it doesn’t get twisted up and is so easy to jump with.

Pros
  • Can be used indoors or outdoors
Cons
  • May not provide enough of a cardiovascular workout for some children

Just perfect!: my feedback

Perfect for my small 7 year old. Great for kangaroo kids class. She was so frustrated with the other types of ropes. And, what's better than rainbow colors? And its held up to all sorts of kid testing.

Pros
  • Jump Ropes
Cons
  • Requires arm strength and coordination to use properly
