When the brush arrived, one of the wooden bristles was missing. Not a good sign but I thought it might just be an accident and did a test run anyway. I've been using this brush for about 6-8 weeks and a few bristles are missing. The real reason for the one star rating isn't the lack of bristles but why the bristles are missing - the brush tangles my hair like no other brush I've ever used. I even started applying the conditioner twice in the shower and using my fingers to comb through any conditioner tangles to fight them and lo and behold, that extra step didn't do anything. This brush creates tangles to the point where I have to use my muscles to comb through my poor hair. Today I ordered another brush, I probably won't touch the thing again. Hair type: thin, curly, medium length.
