The battery is terrible - it drains very quickly. Lost a child? It's better to move fast like a sea dog to beat a dying battery. The app doesn't work very well either. I ordered Etrak and Ezoom on Revain.com and signed up for service for both devices. When I got Etrak I couldn't activate it. Had to ship it back to Etrak HQ in Texas as activation couldn't be done from Alaska. Etrak came back about a week later and the device is now activated. However, I don't see much tracking with this device. On the tracking website I set it to update every 30 minutes and then I wanted to change it to every 5 minutes. Bought for my mum a little over a year ago for added security. This worked until October, I see Etrak no longer charging my account and their website is gone. I'm surprised they still sell it here. I was disappointed that neither the seller nor Etrak contacted me given the importance of the device. If my mother was hurt and needed me or my brother to help, it would prove useless. Luckily for everyone involved, that didn't happen.

I received my ETRAK yesterday Saturday 15th November 2014. Alzheimer's outbreak, wear it. I liked that he works for Verizon, which we already do business with. However, I just tried to login to their website but it is NOT ACCESSIBLE. I tried emailing them and the email was returned. I tried calling her (1.800.279.1261) but THE PHONE IS OFF. Hmmmmmmmm. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I'll keep trying today and see what happens. If not, I will send it back as soon as possible.

I bought this with an annual maintenance plan to keep an eye on my mum who has dementia but is still functional. I glued a pin to the back for her to wear. The staff at her nursing home put it on her every morning and take it off and charge it every night. It MUST connect to the local WIFI and notify me when she disconnects from it, indicating she's going for a walk. This "enhanced" tracking isn't working for me, despite efforts from companies to help. Geofence warning system works better. It's
